We had a wonderful time at Vythiri, and honestly, I felt it was worth sharing our experience before checking out today. Before booking, I had come across quite a few mixed reviews about the property, so I was a little unsure about what to expect. But after experiencing the stay ourselves, my opinion has completely changed. We had a very, very pleasant and memorable stay, and it genuinely felt like a worthwhile experience. The hospitality was excellent, the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, and the entire stay was very comfortable. A special mention to Avantika, who was extremely helpful and took the time to explain the places we could explore around the property. Her warm and helpful approach really added to our experience. The food deserves a special mention as well. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort, and honestly, every meal was great. The quality, taste and overall experience were consistently good. Overall, we are leaving with some really good memories and a completely different impression from what we had expected based on the mixed reviews we had seen earlier. Thank you to the entire Vythiri team for making our stay so pleasant. Special thanks to Avantika for her wonderful hospitality and guidance. Would definitely love to visit again!

Our stay at this resort on the final day of our Wayanad trip was truly unforgettable. the property offered a sense of peace that instantly set it apart. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a warm tilak ceremony—a simple yet thoughtful gesture that reflected the genuine hospitality of the staff. Everyone involved in running the resort was exceptionally cordial and attentive, making us feel valued from the very beginning. The rooms offered stunning views of the lake, and the swimming pool seemed to blend seamlessly into the waters beyond, creating a breathtaking visual experience. The entire atmosphere was calm, tranquil, and almost therapeutic. After spending days amidst the usual rush and activity of travel, the quietness of the place felt unfamiliar at first, yet incredibly comforting. Some of my most cherished memories are of the moments spent sitting on the balcony, simply soaking in the beauty and stillness of the surroundings. Those peaceful hours are something I will remember for a long time. What impressed me even more was the level of service. Not a single request went unattended, and every interaction was met with warmth and professionalism. Leaving the resort was difficult. It was one of those rare places that makes you wish you had planned to stay just a little longer. ⭐ 0/5 – Extremely Disappointing. Not Worth the Hype. We stayed at Vythiri Village and booked the Celebrity Villa with an indoor pool, expecting a premium experience based on the hype and reputation of the resort. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. The resort creates a lot of hype and expectations, but once you actually stay there, there is very little to justify it. Basic amenities and basic guest services were not properly provided. We had to carry all our luggage by hand for almost 500 metres, along with our babies, because the resort did not arrange a buggy or provide proper assistance. When I informed the reception about this, instead of taking responsibility or helping us, they said, “Your payment is already completed.” That response says a lot about the attitude towards guests. It felt like the priority was business and payment, rather than guest satisfaction and hospitality. For the amount we paid and the expectations created by the resort, the actual experience was extremely disappointing. Too much hype, but very little substance. The reality is completely different from what is being promoted. ❌ Poor service ❌ Lack of basic amenities ❌ Poor guest assistance ❌ Very disappointing customer care ❌ Not worth the price I would never recommend this resort, especially for families with children.
